Life seems too busy to seek help.
You’ve made it to that point – you need a therapist.
Life is chaotic, tension and stress are high, and you’re not yourself. You’re ready to start healing.
Now, if only you could find a few extra hours each week to navigate traffic as you drive to your therapist’s office across town or ianother city.
With all that free time (*cough*) you have, you can find the time – Right? Wrong!
Online therapy accommodates your lifestyle.
There’s a solution, and it’s just as effective as the real thing!
Online therapy, also known as telehealth, offers a convenient and unique way to attend therapy that works for you.
You can attend therapy sessions from the comfort and privacy of your own home. Working online also gives you access to specialists like EMDR-certified therapists who may not be available close to home.
How does online therapy work?
All you need is a device that allows for visual and verbal contact and a WiFi connection.
Our work together is private, but I recommend you find a quiet place without interruption.
I’m hesitant – Does online therapy work?
Online therapy is simple to navigate. Before each session, I will send a link from my HIPAA-compliant Zoom account. All you need is a WiFi connection, a device that allows visual and verbal communication, and a safe place free from interruption.
I have found that teletherapy works as well as in-office therapy. However, we must meet certain conditions.
The convenience of therapy can make it easy to ‘half-ass’ the process. Therapy needs to be a priority to work effectively. It will pay off if you are motivated to do the work at a set time each week!
If you want to squeeze in sessions from your car on your iPhone during lunch hour, I am not the therapist for you.
